Consumers say they were misled by a Maryland Heights company that advertises an opportunity for people to work from home.

This according to the Better Business Bureau of Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois.

The company, American Publications, is owned by Dean Murray Spasser, 50, of West St. Louis County.
